The rebuild has started.

The post holes are dug for the stumps of the new house.

Exactly 6 months to the day the house is finally on its way, we have waited long enough and are now getting excited about the prospect of the house being built and ready for us to move into before Christmas.
We have a floor and some plumbing, its so good to see something going up not coming down.

Then we started

The old entertainment area and spa house.

The entertainment area almost gone, this is in March.

Then the spa house / yard office had to be relocated to its new position on the back fence with help from Dad and Mum, Amie and Chrissy. Wills Mimi Diggers and house relocation's :o).

And the site is clear ready for the 5 x 9.5Mt deck and 6 x 9.5Mt colored concrete fully covered color bond entertainment area. Very nice.

Clean up completed

This is what was left after the excavator finished, not much but now there is a clean area waiting for the new house to be started.

This is Feburary 2011

Finally something is happening Febuary 2011 the excavator and man power move in to remove all our worldly possessions, this was a hard time for us to whatch all what was once our treasured items turn into rubble.
This is what can be achieved with a 20 ton excavator and a bloke who can operate it.

The house fire 27th of October 2010

This is what a supermarket 4 outlet power board that had nothing turned on can do to a lovely 5  bedroom house. The fire took only 20 minutes to gut the entire house, sadly we lost our very loved family pet Monty of 13 years. We were very lucky not to have been home.
Thanks to Paul from our local news paper the Gazette for all the photos he took on the day of the fire, the first 3 photos were taken by Paul, we didn't see this bit and they are a bit daunting.

What was

When I can find a photo of our house as it was I will post it
